    @bensimps123 The term ‘sell out’ generally means changing yourself to be popular. Implication that popular is a bad thing? I see one there. So you’re telling them off for being popular, when in your opinion the Clash’s song was also popular, but Green Day are sell outs because they are popular and are covering The Clash’s song. And it’s not even The Clash’s song.
